Biography

Joaquín Merino was born in 1994 in Trelew (Province of Chubut), Argentina. He began the path of music at age 10, with creations crossed by several Latin American genres, sharing tours and stages with great musicians of the song of our country and abroad.

Since 2013 he has integrated various musical groups: Los Chimango (Children's Music), Grupo Electrógeno, Flor de Viento, Tierra León, Garúa Dúo, as a pianist, guitarist, singer, songwriter and arranger. Since 2012 he is a member of the Pócima group participating in the show "Cuentíteres de mi tierra" and "Hace Tiempo" as a musician and actor.

Joaquín Merino creates music crossed by several Latin American genres, with an intimate sound search, born of the simplicity and transparency of the song.

In 2018 he presented his first album of songs "Arvolar", released independently, where more than seventeen musicians participated and talks about the beauty that lives in the simple.
