Biography

Chilean post-rock / Ambient band formed in 2014.

Through an instrumental proposal, the project is characterized by exploring the crossing and comparison of rhythmic patterns, the development of atmospheric structures and dramatic stories.

La Ciencia Simple performs a methodical work that has resulted, among other things, in two studio albums applauded in specialized music sites in Chile and other countries. In 2014 he launched his first work “Hacia el mar” and two more years trade records “II III V”. These albums led them to achieve important milestones in their incipient career: performing throughout Chile and touring several European countries, culminating in the prestigious Dunk! Festival in Zottegem, Belgium (in May 2017), Anomalía Fest in Argentina and being chosen as opening to the show of the North American band Tortoise in Chile.

Arriving in 2018, he presents his third studio work, called “III V VII”. The album is co-edited by the Chilean label LeRock Psicophonique and by the Argentine label Chancho Discos. Since 2014, the most ambitious work of his career (recorded, mixed and mastered by Eugenio Larraín in Estudio Fat Master in Santiago, Chile), a record that shows a sound experimentation that takes a step forward in the quintet's exploratory proposal.
