Biography
He was born in Buenos Aires in 1981. Studied drums and percussion with Marcelo Vonschultz and Pablo Laporta (among other teachers), tabla with Rasikananda Das and accordion with Julio Erman.
As drum player took part in a big number of projects in different styles like Progressive Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Metal and Pop. As percussionist played in Latin-American folk and in Indian music groups. With all this projects played in different stages of the Capital city, in the province of Buenos Aires and in other places of the country and did some recordings as guest musician.
At the same time was developing myself as singer and composer (something was doing since my childhood) and driving my music to the melodic and harmonic aspect (going out of the merely rhythmic side). Their musical work is based in a search inside a genre (the song), from, an introspective and intimate look. In this place connect elements taken from Pop, Jazz o Minimalist Music.
In 2002 wrote the music for Cosas Acostumbradas (“Usual Things”) an installation art made by the artist and musician Erica Villar. The music is included in the demo recorded in 2002 (see Discography)
In 2005 recorded Amuleto (“Amulet”), my first solo album with own songs, composed mainly using the guitar and the voice. In the album played drums, tabla and keyboards. The same was done by a lot of musicians and friends.
In 2007 recrorded their second album “Amor ventrílocuo”.
