Biography

Maria Celina Parrondo debuted as a singer in 1974 and recorded his album "Estados de ánimo", after acting in film, theater and television since 1960 (his most memorable role is "La Raulito" mythical Boca Juniors fan. Was exiled in Spain between 1976 and 1980. In 1982 he recorded the album "Soles", which was driven by "Puerto Pollensa," a Marilina theme popularized by Sandra Mihanovich.

"Cruzando las grandes aguas" (1985) misses the height of the previous LP, but reaches many partial successes "stylistically homogeneous, albeit monotonous overall results," according to the review (Clarín, 01/12/85).

During the '93 and '94 hardly made ??presentations at the Capital: participated cycle "Clásicos Populares" at Teatro General San Martín and several shows at the pub "La Casona del Conde de Palermo".

"Before sitting in my house waiting to some businessman call me and arrange a tour. Actually, it's hard for that to happen today, so I decided bancarme myself a series of concerts around the country, because I feel the need to relate to others "(Telam, 24/10/95). The tour led by Córdoba, Santa Fe, Tucumán, Jujuy, Salta and Santiago del Estero, accompanied by Darius Bond (keyboards) and Sergio Perez (guitar).

Marilina has suffered health problems since 2002, with several sensitive admissions. In 2009 he was honored as Citizen of Buenos Aires, which made ??official day in his professional retirement.
