Biography

The music of Omnia has the poetry of the seventies and the dynamism of the nineties, contrasting smooth atmospheres with guitar riffs and complex keyboard melodies. The word Omnia comes from latin and means "all the things".

The band was born in 1996 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and their original members are Federico Fernandez in drums, Pablo Sangineto in keyboards and piano, Alejandro Scarpato in guitar and Nicolás Nuñez in leading voice and the bass-player Pablo Nieto joined the band this year. They first met as students at "Escuela popular de música - SADEM" , Argentina.

The group has performed at Acatraz, la Colorada, The Cavern , and also on the atlantic coast in 1998.

The november 8th they presented their first production, "Último generador de equilibrio" (last equilibrium generator) , at The Cavern, located in Paseo la Plaza (Buenos Aires, Argentina), with an audience of 150 people. This first production was recorded between october of the last year and february 2000. It consists of eight own tracks, which maintain a conceptual unit between the content and the message of their lyrics, but that uniformity does not prevent each song from have its individual style.

The disc was produced by Roberto López and recorded, mixed and mastered at Amarillo Records.

Roberto López has been artistic manager for Warner Music Argentina, and has worked with artists like Jairo, Mercedes Sosa, Fito Paez and the Symphonic Orchestra of Norway.

This is a good opportunity to listen to a band that offers a present sound, together with the interesting concepts of  Symphonic Rock.
