Description
This is a book inhabited by very vivid characters, very real, tell their story. They are the characters and the places - La Cueva. La Perla. Villa Gesell -where we conceived what today we know as Rock of Acá. These protagonists, very young then, remember in detail those mythological adventures. And they build the story of Mauricio Birabent (Moris), the poet or prophet of that vibrant moment. Moris taught us to sing Rock in Spanish. To have a rocker attitude and the independence that the rocker needs, far from all the powers of shift, the police, the entertainment industry embodied in those years in the “Escala Musical”, and, finally, formal and polite education. He taught us to think for ourselves. That was from the beginning the message of Moris in his two great albums: “30 minutos de vida” and “Ciudad de guitarras callejeras”. From then on he did not stop. He was exiled in Spain and started there Rock in Spanish. Moris inaugurated here and in Spain a tradition that still has him like teacher after more than 50 years of trajectory. Ezequiel Ábalos interviewed him many times and made him tell his story and explain his ideas. He interviewed his friends and gathered all those reports in this book that honors that Fiebre de Vivir (Fever of Living) of Moris.
