After many years, Alas reunited to perform a series of concerts in the United States, Argentina and Brazil. This show in particular was recorded in Rio de Janeiro and happened within the context of the Rio Art Rock Festival, where the original first formation members added Daniel Binelli on bandoneon and Martín Moretto on guitar. Their performance was an accurate rendition of their “Mimame Bandoneón” album, which found the group in an acoustic framework, and leaning towards an Avant Tango sound.

Unreleased album by one of the most prestigious composers and arrangers of Argentine music as a whole. Rodolfo produces a very personal brand of Fusion, via the combination of Jazz, Rock and elements culled from our territory's Popular music, through pleasant and memorable melodies, complex arrangements and constant (yet many times totally unexpected) rhythm changes, which altogether provide an amazing concoction similar to the Canterbury sound from the '70's (Hatfield & The North) or certain passages which easily remind us of Frank Zappa.

During the mid-seventies, many Progressive / Symphonic bands started to appear in several Argentine provinces; some of them linked to an independent musical movement led by the legendary MIA. In the province of Mendoza, the iconic representative of the local pack was Altablanca, a group which enjoyed a trajectory of almost eight years amidst different line-ups. This great sonic rescue offered here proves beyond the shadow of any doubt just how talented these lads were, besides their very high musical quality, and shows the symbiosis they shared with the likes of MIA, Redd, Irreal, and Trigémino.

Very interesting sonic proposal by this quartet comprised of young musicians, who have just released their first album. The combination of Progressive Fusion and Progressive Rock is the chosen genre for their debut recording. Constant rhythm changes and well-structured compositions abund in this production, which is mostly of an Instrumental orientation. We could consider Liquid Tension Experiment as the band's closest relative, at least from a strictly musical perspective.

This double album contains on its first CD, studio recordings made in 2004. The second CD shows us how the group sounded live. Re-release of one of Lito's best efforts ever, at long last available for the very first time on CD. This is a conceptual album drenched with melancholy, passion and emotion inspired by the pen of poetress Mirtha Defilpo. A blend of Sympho Rock, Fusion and his own personal style, featuring Lito at the highest peak of his solo career. A labour not dissimilar to Yes' 1973 classic, "Tales from topographic oceans".

This album represents the beginning of the most creative phase of the threesome together with Jorge González and Néstor Astarita. Here they add music to the very unusual for their time lyrics culled from the poetry of Mirta Defilpo. A work of definite Progressive calibre which continues along the familiar song structured path, although in no way conforming his compositions this time to duration limitations. All tracks feature harmonic arrangements, counterpoints and instrumental sequences that blend with the sung passages.

This album was recorded together with guitarist and bassist Daniel Homer, while Mirtha Defilpo took responsibility of almost all the lyrics and some vocal parts too. This is a record comprising very personal songs of a certain melancholic touch, and under the obvious influences of Brazilian sounds and rhythms. The project came together during a prolonged period of several months of rest, which the trio had taken in order to re-think its future and next studio output. This new edition includes four bonus tracks culled from the soundtrack to the Argentine cult movie "Bobeta, ilusion y despertar".

Short-lived Progressive Folk trio who recorded their sole album in the cherished company of Pedro Botti (piano) together with members of Aquelarre on several tracks. Exquisite, Pastoral melodies and excellent vocal arrangements (sung in Spanish) which toss our minds back to the glorious days of the early seventies Italian bands(acoustic guitars, piano and flute). Practically without any live concerts at all and with scarce promotional activity around the record's release, the band promptly decided to call it a day soon after.

The second musical adventure led by the former keyboards player with Pez, Pipo Limeres, finds this Instrumental quartet enjoying an astonishing musical solidity in which Jazz Rock, Fusion and Progressive Rock coexist with delicacy and virtuosity, where the guitars and keyboards exhibit their improvisational direction, as well as a sound that at times approximately reminds us of the one created by the Dutch legends, Focus.

Quaker is a new and young band originating from the City of La Plata (capital of the province of Buenos Aires, Argentina). Following the footsteps of bands such as Tryo & 3/4 de trio, their attempt is to evolve, through their own vision, the Progressive style inaugurated by King Crimson. Based on the best Uruguayan Candombe tradition, its sensitive inner richness was the real motivation that brought together five instrumentalists to explore such a musical tradition and transform it into another Rock derivative. Candombe’s primitive rhythmic intensity, together with Rock, Funk, and Jazz, all originated from black cultural heritage, and was the channel chosen by the fivesome Raíces, to bring about a brilliant debut album, devoid of any solemnity, full of vitality and vibrant communication. It is very well worth noting that a promising and talented young lad was the keyboard player on these sessions. His name was Andrés Calamaro and made his recording debut on this album.

The passage of Trigémino through the Progressive Argentine Rock scene has left indelible footprints among those fortunate enough who managed to see them play live-in-concert, between 1976 and 1981.
