Biography

Rock is full of myths, figures whose trace is easy to lose. Among them, even the original bassist of Pescado Rabioso.

Mítica was an ephemeral project, formed by Osvaldo “el bocón” Frascino, who had been Engranaje's guitarist for decades, as well as the bassist on the album Desatormentanos por Pescado Rabioso. Its whereabouts were an enigma for decades, the basis for numerous myths (and truths). On drums, Roberto “Corre” López, who was part of Los Walkers during the 60's, a reference for great Argentine musicians, such as, for example, Black Amaya. And as the third leg of this trio, the bassist Fabio Moberman, who provides young blood, but with the spirit of the 70's. A balance between psychedelia and hard rock.

The band had only a couple of performances, but the pandemic and the eventual death of 'el bocón' put an end to this promising supergroup. Like so many other bands, this one could have remained simply a mention, whose sound would be lost forever. Fortunately, we have this record, which will make Mytica live forever. From his own compositions to even Pappo covers, this was a concert held at the Teatro Verdi in Buenos Aires on August 16, 2019.
