Biography

Acantilados is a musical project which was born in Buenos Aires. It started in 2007 as a two-guitar and drums band, but the formation and members changed through time until 2010 when it was consolidated as the current trio: guitarist Pablo Leal, drummer Lucas Leal and bassist Nicolás Aimone.

Although its instrumental music is often associated with music styles like Post-Rock or even Post-Metal, this is not the band's premise. It is rather what comes naturally when they play together creating a dreamlike atmosphere, varied textures and hypnotic melodies. It takes elements from minimalism as well as amalgamated rhythms and furious distortions.

On September 2014, Acantilados released its first album independently.
